546 PROVING 2ND KINGS 17-20
As my wife and I read through chapters 17-20 of 2nd Kings, God began to lead me to write another article, which would also become a radio broadcast. I feel that God was showing that I could prove much of what is in those chapters. The world today not only needs to be taught the Bible is provable, but Christians need proof too. The world needs it to bring them out of ignorance, and Christians need it to gain enough faith to be able guide the world into the truth. The Lord first focused me on Tirhakah King of Cush (Ethiopia) who came to the aid of Hezekiah when he was under attack by the Assyrian king Sennacherib. Were these real kings living in the time of Hezekiah? As I researched the matter, imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail notification that day from the Biblical Archeology Society dealing with that exact same person (Tirhakah of Cush) , and mentioning his relationship with Hezekiah. Assyrian King Sennacherib laid siege to Jerusalem in 701 B.C. The Assyrians had already taken over the ten tribes of Israel in Samaria, which archaeology has proven, and had begun to defeat regions of Judah where Hezekiah was King in Jerusalem. It looked bleak for Hezekiah and Jerusalem. Then the prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah that Sennacherib wouldn’t prevail against Jerusalem, urging him not to surrender. The prophecy stated that not an arrow would be fired into Jerusalem, and that the Assyrians would be driven back into their own country. Tirhakah, though his intent was good, was not the reason that Sennacherib fled from Judah and Jerusalem. Our Bible tells us that God sent an angel into the camp of the Assyrians and slaughtered over one hundred thousand of them. At that juncture, according to the Bible, Sennacherib fled back to his own country and never came against Judah again. Is this provable? History says yes. The writings of King Sennacherib, found by archaeologists, tells us he didn’t overtake Hezekiah and Jerusalem, but suddenly left when it seemed he was just about to win. Why? I believe the Bible is correct reporting that over one hundred thousand of his men died. What action the angel used to cause this is debatable, but the evidence points to this being the reason the King fled. Isaiah’s prophecy also stated that the sons of Sennacherib would kill that king when he arrived home, wanting the kingdom for themselves. In the Assyrian and other writings found by archaeologists, we find that this event took place; the killing of Sennacherib by his sons. The notification that I received from Biblical Archaeology Society included an image of a new statue of Tirhakah that’s been found. We now have proof from archaeology that Sennacherib, Tirhakah and Hezekiah all lived at the same time, the battles took place, Samaria and Israel fell, and we have statues and writings which back the Bible. Wow! Talk about seeing God at work! How likely is it that God would speak to me about this very man (Tirhakah) and then, as I was writing, to receive a notification in my e-mails from an archaeological society dealing with the same Tirhakah… and even mentioning the very chapter of 2nd Kings in which I had just been studying? This is not the first time that God has done this as I research a particular person, event or battle. I shouldn’t be shocked when He does this, but stand in awe when it happens. I feel this is the Lord’s way of confirming my ministry and my calling. We are living in a world that totally rejects the Bible as being authored by God and written by men whom God ordained to do so. The Bible is the single most attacked book ever, standing the test of time by answering critics with archaeological and other evidence, proving it’s accuracy and being truly the very Word of God. Many in this world are now rejecting God and angered at those who accept Jesus as their Saviour. Once again, the prophecies of the Bible tell us this would happen in the latter days. Those who wish to punish Christians for their beliefs are only confirming that these beliefs are accurate and verifiable. The antagonists themselves are proving the prophecies true! 547 THE COVENANT AND THE MAYFLOWER COMPACT
Throughout the Bible God has made covenants with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, the Priestly Covenant, the covenant with David and the New covenant; seven in all. Each covenant came with conditions, as any contract does. God has never broken any part of the seven covenants. When the ten commandments were given to Moses on Mt. Sinai (the mountain of God), God promised to guide the people as long as they obeyed His laws and served Him only. His desire was for His people to be a holy people. In Genesis 9, God made a covenant with Noah, pledging never to destroy the Earth again with water. Noah and his family were saved because God found Noah to be righteous and the only one who “walked with God”. In Hebrews 11:7, he is listed as one of the heroes of the faith. In Genesis 12:1-3, God promised Abraham, via a covenant, that He’d give him descendants that couldn’t be counted. For this, Abraham and his people were to remain faithful to God and serve as a conduit of blessing to every future generation. When His people fell into sin, God allowed them to become enslaved by Egypt for 400 years, but then heard their pleas and remembered His covenant with Abraham. The Mosaic covenant at Mt. Sinai (Exodus 19;3-6), encompasses the ten commandments as foundational to the covenant. This was between the Israelites and God…no one else. We Christians are part of the New Covenant. Jeremiah explains this Mosaic covenant to be a temporary contract, stating a new contract would be made in the future, for all people groups (Jeremiah 31:31-34). The reason the New Covenant was to be made was because the Israelites once again fell into sin and worshiped other gods. They broke their covenant with God. God also made a covenant with King David. David’s lineage was to rule on the throne of Israel forever. Jesus, a descendant of David, will be the eternal King on that throne. David fell into sin more than once, but God will keep His part of this contract. It is the only contract that we can’t break. In Galatians 4:24-26, Paul speaks of two covenants, the old and the new. The Old Covenant put us under the law, but the New Covenant puts us under the grace of God. Our sins are placed upon Jesus on the cross, setting us free forever for those who accept Christ as their Saviour. This covenant included all mankind. Pilgrims who founded our country made a covenant with God as well; the Mayflower Compact, which was the forerunner of our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, another covenant. Columbus also planted a cross as his first act when he reached this new land, dedicating it to God. This country was intended to be a haven for all mankind, and has faithfully tried to fulfill that role, welcoming people from all nations. This is a symbol of the New Covenant made by the death and resurrection of Jesus in that everyone was to be blessed by this undocumented covenant with God. The rules still apply to this new land and this covenant; we must follow God in all things and avoid sinful natures that would corrupt the covenant. When this nation turns it back on God, our days will end as the place of freedom for all. When I was a young man, I remember people flocking to churches to praise and worship God. Evil was not anywhere near as rampant as it is today. We never even locked our doors. To even think of aborting a baby was considered horrendous and despicable. Neighbors helped neighbors…and I was living in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. It was quite a bit more spiritual than we see today. Our politicians, though faithful to their party, could be trusted completely to lead this country. We relaxed in their faithfulness to God and country. Where are we today? We old folk are dying out, and many are glad of it. We represent a time when this country was glorious and stood for righteousness. We, who are believers, need to be more vocal in sharing our faith and being servants who are unselfish and godly. Revival can still come when the children of God rise up and cause the Holy Spirit to move once again across this country. It is never too late with God. 154 GIANTS IN THE LAND
I was recently challenged as to there being giants living in the days of King David, especially the one known as Goliath. I feel that pictures are worth more than a thousand words, so I’m sending you to see a picture of the giants that lived near Gath, Goliath’s home. The Egyptian Rameses II wall relief (a very large image carved in stone) shows two captured Canaanite Shasu Warrior giants from the area where Gath was found in 2015 being beaten with rods by Egyptian soldiers. Look up Rameses II Sashu warriors being beaten by Egyptians. These warriors lived during the days of Joshua, who reported that there were giants in Canaan that made the Israelites appear like grasshoppers. These soldiers were captured in the mountain passes of Canaan which is where Goliath would eventually be born in Gath. Goliath lived in Gath with his four giant brothers when the battle began between him and king David. David killed Goliath in battle, according to the Bible. Goliath is thought to have been nearly nine feet tall. This carved stone image is pretty convincing evidence that the Bible is right about there once being giants in the land. There is another Egyptian report from general Horus about encountering Shasu Warriors in a Canaanite mountain pass. It is called the Egyptian ‘Anastasi Papyrus’. General Horus made a dispatch back to Pharaoh that he fought with these giants, stating in this report that the giants were anywhere from 7’6” to 9” tall. The Anastasi Papyrus would have been written shortly after the Israelites departed from slavery in Egypt on the Exodus, and when Joshua was leading them to conquer Canaan. Look at the massive physic of the warriors in the Rameses II carved stone image compared to the skinny Egyptians. Who can doubt that these men would be called giants? Notice that to make the Egyptians look taller their legs have been exaggerated in comparison to their bodies. I have hundreds of such images, coming from archaeological discoveries, in my saved pictures. Many have stated that Goliath was a fictional character, including the belief of him being a Giant. When Gath was discovered in 2015, pottery was found in one of the homes bearing the name of ‘Goliath’. With the accumulated knowledge that is being brought forward by archaeological discoveries, one can hardly dispute that Goliath was not only real, but a man up to nine feet tall. The ruins of Gath where the pottery was found was dated to about 930 B.C. This is exactly when David was said to have fought and won a battle with Goliath. Gath was burned by the Israelites at that time. The ash layers show that this is true. History records that Gath was later lived in again after that battle, but would never be the same. It’s a shame that most pastors are not aware of the discoveries in archaeology that could bear proof for nearly all stories in the Bible. This would include Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead (look up Lazarus second tomb Cyprus), The story of Jonah going to Nineveh to preach repentance (as found within the library of King Ashurbanipal of Nineveh, which includes 30,000 written tablets), and much more. On the stone coffin of Lazarus are these words, “Lazarus, friend of Jesus, once dead four days”. HAS BEHEMOTH BEEN FOUND?
Job 40:18 says, ‘Behold Behemoth, which I made as I made
you; he eats grass like an ox. Behold, his strength is in his loins, and his
power is in the muscles of his belly. He moves his tail like a cedar: the
sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are as strong pieces of
brass; his bones are like bars of iron. He is the chief of the ways of God. He
that made him can make his sword to approach him. Surely the mountains bring
him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play’. Many new versions of
the Bible are now portraying Behemoth as a rhinoceros. If Behemoth had a tail
like a cedar tree, which can grow fifty feet, how does one compare that to a six
inch tail of a rhinoceros? It appears that numerous new renditions of the Bible
are trying to accommodate the idea of evolution stating man didn’t live alongside
of dinosaurs. The Bible said Behemoth was made at the same time as man.
I believe if God meant rhinoceros, He would have said so. Rhinoceroses existed
alongside of Job. Thanks to Kenneth Lacovara, PhD. of Drexel University, we
just might have discovered a Behemoth in Southern Patagonia, Argentina. He
found a nearly complete dinosaur fossil sporting a tail over 30 feet long. Its
neck is 37 feet long, and its body is said to be as “big as a house”. Total size
is 85 feet long. Its weight comes in at a whopping 65 tons, or 130,000 lbs. They
named it Dreadnoughtus after the heavy duty battleships of WWI, which were
considered nearly unsinkable. The thing that shocked the paleontologists is
that the bones revealed this was a young dinosaur not fully
grown yet. The fossilized remains are nearly complete, and a younger Dreadnoughtus
was found beside it. Both the upper arm bone and the thigh bone are what
researchers use to estimate overall weight. Luckily, both were intact,
guaranteeing the estimated weight at 130,000 lbs. Dr. Lacovara stated, “it
weighed as much as…seven T Rex”… dinosaurs combined. One can only guess at the
size and weight of a mature Dreadnoughtus. It was found to belong to a group of
dinosaurs known as planteaters. Compare this creature to the Biblical Behemoth.
Both are planteaters. The Bible calls Behemoth the “chief” of all creatures,
and this creature is said to “ have feared nothing” by the discoverers. It is
also the largest of all dinosaurs. Dr. Lacovara said, “It had a weaponized
tail…” Muscle scars show that the tail had been scarred in battle. The tail
would have weighed nearly 15 tons as it swung out and then smashed back at
great speed into an enemy, doing more damage than several wrecking balls tied together.
The Bible describes Behemoth’s tail as large as a Cedar tree, matching the tail
of Dreadnoughtus. Behemoth eats grass as an ox, and its strength came from his
loins and its power from the belly. So did this creature’s. Behemoth’s sinews
of its thighs were knit together for strength, and its bones are said to be
like strong brass and iron. The legs and bones of this creature required
supernatural strength just to support its weight. The neck vertebra was over a
yard long by itself. Remember, this animal was not fully grown yet.
Both Behemoth and Dreadnoughtus got its food from a forest where there were
other animals. The researchers go on to explain that the two
skeletons are evidence that these individuals were buried quickly by massive
flooding; though they theorize a rising river probably burst a
dam. If a female with child, momma would have been smaller than a male. How
does one deeply bury this size animal before it had time to run to higher
ground? Creatures must be buried much deeper than their size to
get fossilized, or they’d be eaten by microbes or scavengers. Dreadnoughtus
would have stood taller than the surrounding trees. That’s a lot of mud and
debris coming from a river flood. The better answer is that it must have been
buried deeply during the massive mud and debris flows of Noah’s flood. Have we
found Behemoth? The evidence suggests we just have. This is no tiny rhinoceros.

FLOOD, PASSOVER, RESURRECTION
I love those moments when God reveals something new to me
while reading the Bible. As my wife and I read Chapter eight of Genesis this
morning, I spied a tiny notation in the side column. Genesis 8:4 states, “And
the Ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon
the mountains of Ararat.” I had often wondered why had it been necessary for
God to record the day and month the Ark landed on Mt. Ararat. It seemed
unnecessary information. How wrong I was. My side column notation sent me on a research
project. The notation was that this date in Genesis 8:4 was considered the Civil
calendar month and day and that God later ordered, in Exodus 12:1-2, that that
calendar be changed from a civil calendar to a religious
calendar. The seventh month of the civil became the first month for the
Israelites. I wondered if there were biblical relationships to this change.
Boy, was I shocked. The date change came when nine of the plagues of Egypt had
finished, and God was about to send the tenth; the death of all first born who
did not put the blood of the lamb on the door posts. Exodus 12:1-3 says, “And
God spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, this month, the 7th,
shall be unto you the first month of the year to you”. The civil calendar month seven was to become
their first month of the religious calendar. God then ordered that each family
gather a lamb on the tenth day of that month and keep it until the 14th
day of that month. That evening, the Israelites were to kill their lambs and
place the blood on the door posts, knowing the death angel was to pass over any
house having the blood of the lamb on it that night. At midnight, the 15th
day, all first born died, according to Exodus. The next night, the evening of
the 16th, Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and told them to
leave. The following day, the 17th, the Israelites
gathered their goods, food and families and departed Egypt, leaving behind 400
years of slavery. This would have been the 17th day of the 7th
month; same day that the Ark came to rest on Mt. Ararat. The month was ordered changed
that week of the Passover by God; from the 7th month to the 1st
month. My study got a little better. I remembered Jesus was crucified on the 14th
day of Nisan, which is the first month of the new religious
calendar. I immediately realized that this would have been the 7th
month in the days of Noah’s flood on the old civil calendar. That calendar
would not change until the first Passover. Jesus was buried on the 14th
day and rose again on the 17th. This would have been
the same day and month that Noah’s Ark rested on Mt. Ararat. This would mean
that Noah’s Ark came to rest on Mt. Ararat, the Jews Exodus from Egypt to
freedom from slavery took place, and Jesus being crucified and rising again all
happened on the same day of the same month; the seventeenth day of the seventh
month! ‘Wow’! Only God could orchestrate
something like this. Noah didn’t orchestrate what day his boat would land, the
Jews couldn’t possibly know what day they would leave slavery for freedom, and the
death and resurrection of Jesus couldn’t have been planned by man. There are no
coincidences in the Bible. I wonder how many others have figured out these
three things correlate. I had never read or heard about it until I started
researching. Things like this should shame those who say the Bible cannot be
trusted. I’ve run into a few, but you can bet that I’ll use this bit of
information to lead people to accepting Jesus as their Saviour. Who can deny
that God did all this? Those three events were written down long before each
happened. I guarantee that this will go into my new book when it is published.

YES LORD, I BELIEVE
As an atheist, I thought that Evolution had possibilities,
but saw flaws in the reasoning. I hadn’t
had any training in the church we attended about any proofs for God as the
Creator other than simply accepting what the Bible had to say about it. I wondered about that, too. Was God real? Was Jesus really who He said He
was? Could I trust stories about men
being swallowed by whales, walking on water, being taken up to heaven, and
more? There was no scientific or
archaeological forensic foundation laid for the youth of that church; about a hundred
of us. Like myself, most of them
eventually left the church and turned their backs on God. The Bible stories weren’t enough to keep the
majority in the faith. Simply telling us
stories, expecting us to believe them, and then leaving it at that was not
enough. I’ve since learned, through
statistics of the Assembly of God, ‘Focus on the Family’, the Baptist church,
and many others that eighty percent of all kids raised in a church leave the
faith when they “get an education”. This
fulfilled two ideas on the Communist Manifesto; destroy belief in God, and take
over what is taught in the schools. My
church was no different from most others.
More than eighty percent left the faith.
I remember the first time my shallow faith was tested. I’d already gotten bored of church and
left. The teachings on evolution in
elementary and high school had eaten away at most of what little faith I had concerning
God as Creator and Jesus being His Son. If
Evolution was true, and God was not the Creator of Adam, then Jesus was not the
sacrifice for sin that He and his apostles said He was. I was in college and a professor was belittling
one of the students for believing God created the earth and mankind just six to
eight thousand years ago. He had a swell
time putting the girl in her place and ultimately embarrassing her enough to
silence her forever while in school. The
whole class was laughing by the time he finished. It left an indelible mark on my soul. It wasn’t long before I became an
atheist. However, I never was really
sold on Evolution either. The idea of
aliens seeding life on this earth was also ridiculous to me. I put the question of Creation on the back
burner of my mind and went about living my life, or should I say dying
spiritually. I had no hope, no good eternal
future, no way of finding the truth.
That is, until David Holbrook came into my life. David was a caring guy, extremely well read,
and extremely intelligent. He had also gone
through what I had spiritually. However,
David was fortunate enough to find someone who taught more than just the Bible stories. His mentors had great wisdom and biblical teaching.
Since my days with David, there have been over one thousand more archaeological
discoveries proving many parts of the Bible as being true. The faith I gained through Biblical forensic
knowledge was incredible, but has grown enormously since. I later learned Hosea 4:6, which says “My
people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
However, in Proverbs 11:9, God tells us how to remedy that; “With
knowledge the just shall be delivered.” Wow, how true that was for me! There’s now
no book of the Bible where I can’t prove at least one thing in most chapters as
provable, including some of the miracles of Jesus. Much can be proven by
archaeological, historical, or scientific discoveries; discoveries our parent
didn’t have. For example, the church now has evidence that Jesus did raise
Lazarus from the dead, that Goliath was a giant, the Exodus was real, and much
more. Sadly, many pastors don’t know about these finds and therefore cannot
pass them on to their youth. To date,
there have been a little over 6,500 discoveries in archaeology alone; not to
mention science finds proving God as Creator…not Evolution or the Big Bang. Most of these stories, people, places,
events, and other things in the Bible were once challenged by critics of the
Bible. This means the critics have been
absolutely wrong all of those times.

BELIEVING BOTH BIBLE AND EVOLUTION?
In 1859, Charles Darwin drew his ‘phylogenic tree’ of life
in his book ‘The Origin of Species’. This ‘tree’ had a trunk, limbs, branches,
and twigs. The trunk represented the first living thing, and each time that a
new creature supposedly evolved from the first creature, they were represented
as either limbs, branches, or twigs; allegedly showing the progression of
evolution over billions of years. I was asked why I didn’t believe in evolution
as God’s tool to create all life. The questioner was under the impression that
a Christian could both accept the Bible and Evolution as being compatible. I
asked if they understood Darwin’s phylogenic tree. They did. I then began to
point out the differences between when
Darwin said certain creatures evolved from other creatures. I emphasized the
“when”, indicating that we should look at which creatures came first. I then
pointed out the following; The first ten words of the Bible state that “In the
beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. Evolutionists believe the Big
Bang created all things. This is our first discrepancy between the Bible and
Evolution. In the book of Genesis, chapter one, it says God created “light”
before He created the Sun and Moon. Evolution says the Sun and Moon were our
first light. Already we’re seeing that one or the other must be wrong. Evolution teaches that marine organisms came
first. However, Genesis tells us that land plants came first. Another discrepancy. Evolution says that land
mammals came before the sea creatures. However, Genesis says that whales and
fish came before land mammals. Evolution
says reptiles came before birds; Genesis says birds came before reptiles.
Evolution says death and disease were here millions of years before mankind. However, Genesis says death and disease came
because Adam and Eve (mankind) sinned. Jesus came because He was to die for the
sins of man, to free mankind to enter heaven. If death and disease were not the
result of sin, then Jesus died for nothing and is not the Saviour of the world.
Evolution says the earth was all molten lava in the beginning, with no water on
it. Genesis says God separated the
waters and created the land mass out of it. It is noteworthy that the waters of
the “Fountains of the great deep”, as mentioned in Genesis, were likely recently
discovered; enough water, according to scientists, to cover even that highest
mountains if let loose on the earth…just like the Bible says happened in the
story of Noah’s flood. There’s an
article in the U.S.A. Today paper on this; dated June 4, 2014, I believe. The
upper waters became our vaporized atmosphere. I haven’t even got past the first
pages of the Bible in Genesis, and we see that Evolution and the Bible are not
compatible in any way. One must choose
one or the other. It shows a lack of knowledge to think that we can believe
both to be true. Even Jesus speaks of Adam and Eve, God as the Creator, and
life originating at the time of Adam and Eve. Almost all books of the Bible
mention God creating all things in six literal days. Moses wrote the first five
books of the Bible, including all of Genesis. Jesus gives a very strong warning
against not believing the writings of Moses. John 5:47, Jesus says this; “Do
not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you,
even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye
believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me. But if ye
believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” How can one say
they’re a Christian believer and choose Evolution over the Bible, especially
the writings of Moses whom Jesus had every confidence in? Even the slightest
perusal of the Bible shows us that very many portions testify to God creating
all things as written in Genesis. Therefore, I believe one must choose one over
the other, abandoning whichever is trashed. One can’t believe in both. One
needs to go. Jesus warns us that we will one day answer as to which we chose to
believe. The book of Matthew 7:21-23 tells us of those who will not make it
into heaven. There are those who profess to have known the Lord and done many
wonderful things in His name, but Jesus will say he never knew them. Look for my book “Learning the ABC’s;

I’M NOT A THEISTIC EVOLUTIONIST
I’ve been asked why I’m not a theistic evolutionist. A theistic evolutionist is a Christian who
believes that God is the Creator, but used billions of years of Evolution as
His tool to do so. They feel that those of us who believe in a literal six-day
creation period are not very scientific.
Let me explain why their evolutionary opinion does not stand up to
Christian Biblical principles. They say
that man, in the beginning of life, originated from non-living materials that
somehow came to life then evolved from one thing to another until we look like
we do, today. First, the Bible tells us
that we were created in the image of God.
God was not a pile of goo? Theistic
evolutionists call themselves Christian believers, but I must ask, “what is it
that they believe, and what do they base it on?” Certainly, not the Bible, Jesus, the Bible
writers, or the Apostles. These all
maintain a literal six-day creation. Jesus
said that if we can’t believe the writings of Moses, which includes all of
Genesis, then we won’t believe His words either. Jesus believed Genesis as written. Was He wrong?
Jeremiah 32:17 tells us that God created the heavens and earth with His
great power, and that nothing is too hard for Him. Why would God then use the pitifully poor
method of Evolution as his tool to create life?
Evolution teaches that all things evolved slowly over billions of years
by accidental mutations within our genes.
I’ve asked these people if they believe that God is going to create a
new heaven and a new earth one day, and that we will be allowed to live
there. They almost always answer
yes. I then ask if God’s going to use
the same process as evolution over billions of years to build the new heavens
and earth. In other words, do we have to
sit around a billion years or so waiting for a planet to live on? Almost all opt for God building the new
heavens and earth quickly. Think of it. If God can create a new heaven and a
new earth immediately, then what makes them think He couldn’t have done it in
the beginning? Why limit God’s power to having
to use an extremely cruel “survival of the fittest” system to build? Think of all the trillions of accidental
transformations that evolution says had to happen in order to create all living
things over billions of years. When God
pronounced all things to be very good, after Creation was over, was death and
disease part of that very good? It had
to be, if Evolution is correct. Evolutionists
believe death and disease would have been here millions of years before mankind
finally evolved onto the scene. Was God
wrong? Were things not very good and He
missed it? Death and disease then could
not be the result of sin by man as the Bible dictates. If death was not the result of sin, then why
did Jesus have to die. Our Bible says He
died because of the sins of mankind to give us a chance at a new life in
heaven. Jesus teaches that Adam and Eve
sinned, and that He had to die because sin entered the world through them. Was Jesus wrong? These are a few of the reasons that I’m not a
theistic evolutionist. It’s noteworthy
to recognize that even genetic research is now showing that mankind gains about
100-150 genetic mutations per generation, with each generation passing on
mutations to the next. Scientists
quickly realized that there had to have been a time when mankind had to be free
of all mutations; genetically pure. Simple
math told them that man has only been around for about 7-8,000 years; based on
the known number of mutations in the average human. Genetic research has also now shown we all
descended from just one set of original parents. This runs contrary to evolution stating
different races evolved from different sets of monkeys, separated by as much as
100,000 years, and that some races were “lesser evolved”. Darwin wholeheartedly believed in lesser
evolved races of people, especially the black race. Therefore, people enslaved the black race,
and other so-called lesser evolved people.
We’re learning we all are of the same race, and that’s a proven fact
from science. The genetics (DNA) for
each race was in that first parents; Adam and Eve. Instead of science proving its point about
evolution, Genetics is proving the Bible to be right, instead. This is why I’m not a theistic Evolutionist
but rather a Creationist. The evidence for God as Creator is overwhelming.

BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Charles Darwin began studying pigeons to explore the possibility
of using them to explain and show evolution.
He feared that his Theory of Evolution would not be accepted because it
ran contrary to the belief that God created the world. This can be verified by the quote from the
Natural History Museum of London: “Darwin was worried about how his theory of
evolution would be received. It
challenged the widely-held belief that God created the world”. Darwin hoped to show evolution in progress by
cross-breeding as many kinds of pigeons that he could find. Many said that Darwin’s work with pigeons
gave clear proof for evolution. He
looked for specific features in each kind of known pigeon and crossed these
features with other kinds of pigeons. To
his delight, he found that he could ‘manufacture’ a different variety of pigeon. So much so, that ornithologists of his day
were shocked. To them, he seemed to have
sped up ‘natural selection’ processes so necessary to prove that creatures
evolved slowly over many millions of years.
Today, we know that man can crossbreed many types of animals to get
different kinds of the same animal. This
is clearly seen mostly in dog varieties.
Other scientists soon wondered if he wasn’t right about evolution, and a
theory was born. Darwin’s theory took
off. Does this prove evolution? Today we understand that the genes of many
kinds of the same animals can be selected and used to create other varieties of
the same animals. Darwin had no concept
of DNA, cellular structures, or genetics.
It wasn’t known in his day.
Genetics has proven to be a burr in the saddle for evolutionists. The more we understand it, the more evolution
is proven wrong. Please note that Darwin
never made a monkey out of any pigeon.
They remained pigeons, did they not?
Genesis chapter one tells us that all creatures remain stubbornly “to
their own kind”. A dog is a dog, a cat
is a cat, a bird is a bird, and no dog is going to have a kitten, and no cat is
going to give birth to a dog. All the
genetic information for each kind of animal needed to create multiple varieties
of its kind was within that animal from the beginning. Notice also, that Darwin selected which
characteristics he wanted in each of his birds.
This is not ‘natural’ selection; it is intelligent selection, something evolution says is not part of
evolution. He became the ‘designer’ of
what he wanted. Design is also another
foreign word for evolutionists. They do not believe in design in nature because
it evokes a designer being needed. Evolution
is believed to only act upon changes in food sources, habitat, nature, and so
on. What evolutionists do not see is
that all those things only bring out the variety of kind best adapted to those changes.
This is due to the genetics within the kind, and each “kind” never
changes to a different creature. A dog
remains a dog, and a cat remains a cat.
We get no birds from reptiles, as suggested by Charles Darwin, for
example. Darwin believed dinosaurs
evolved into birds. In his day, some
believed that a dinosaur scratched itself so much that the skin shredded and
feathers were the result. This theory
was once widely accepted by evolutionists.
This feather feature, supposedly, was then passed down to the next
generations until dinosaurs eventually learned how to fly. Today, we consider this to be nonsense. If I were to lose an arm, does that mean all
my children would be born without that arm?
Even if a dinosaur did scratch itself so much that a feather-like skin
was produced, the dinosaur’s genetics wouldn’t allow that feather-like feature to
be passed onto its children. Darwin
started with pigeons and ended with pigeons.
Now, that is truly a fact. Look

AND THE ‘WINNER’ IS
I love contests where the host announces “and the winner
is…” Here’s a contest that the
Christians won. It’s been held by some
that the Temple of Solomon never existed; that it was a fictional place. This view has been held (and taught) by
higher education critics, as well as other critics of the Bible. This is just one of the attacks against the
Bible that millions of students had to suffer while in college or a university. Consequently, nearly eighty percent of all
young Christians attending a college or university will, per many statistics,
lose their faith and never to return to the church. A few years ago, a tiny ivory pomegranate was
discovered, and has now been validated to be part of the staff of the high
priest used in the Temple of Solomon. That
would be the temple the critics said never existed. God is good.
However, that’s not all that’s been found. Archaeologists were working in Khirbet
Qeiyafa and discovered a miniature model
of the Temple of Solomon. It looks
exactly like the Biblical description of the real temple. To make matters worse for the critics of the
Bible, a second miniaturized copy of the temple has also now been found. These were dated back to the time that the
temple still stood. You can’t have an
exact copy of something that never existed.
The Temple of Solomon can no longer be contested by the critics. That’s not all that’s being found. The Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement
decided to convert a portion of the original temple grounds in Jerusalem (known
as Solomon’s Stables) into an Islamic Mosque, despite the archaeological laws
forbidding such digging. They illegally
removed 9,000 tons of archaeological-rich soil to a dump, thumbed their noses
at the law, and built their mosque.
Archaeologists decided to sift through all 9,000 tons and look for
ancient artifacts. They found many. One was a tiny bulla (an impression used to
seal scrolls or letters) that belonged to “Lyahu son of Immer’. The Immer family lived before and during the
days of the prophet Jeremiah and were in control and care of the Temple of
Solomon. Two other seals were found a
few years ago in the recently discovered palace of King David discovered in
Jerusalem (the one critics maintained as fictional). These belonged to Gedaliah son of Pashur, and
Jucal son of Shelemiah (whom critics said were fictional). These are two of the
four princes that threw Jeremiah into the miry pit, according to the book of
Jeremiah. Pashur is mentioned in the
Bible as the son of…Immer. Pashur is the
one who punched (smote) Jeremiah in the mouth. What an amazing tie-in this
is! The same Immer family as on the
recently found seal on the temple grounds. The Bible tells us this family held
sway over Solomon’s Temple. Since Lyahu,
son of Immer, worked in the temple, one should expect to find his seal on
temple grounds. It was. Since Gedaliah and Jucal were princes in
Judah, one would expect to find their seals in the palace. They were.
Pashur, as a son of Immer, ties the palace and the Temple together. All these people lived during the days of
Jeremiah. There are more. I’ve enjoyed watching one find after another proving
the critics who berated people, places, and events in our Bible to be
disproven, but am also saddened. I’m
aware of the statistics of how many tens of millions of young students have
lost, and will eventually lose, their faith and leave the church because they’re
unaware of the discoveries proving their Bible can be trusted. This loss of students is totally
preventable. A good pastor would keep in
touch with young parishioners while they are in college. A great pastor is one who’d have someone
designated in their church to learn Christian Apologetics (evidences for the
Bible), and to keep in touch with young parishioners. This person would also oversee teaching the
whole congregation evidences. If there

discovered in 2016, and evidence for king Saul and his son Eshbaal was inside.
Shortly before that, they found Goliath’s home of Gath and pottery with his
name.
